Take a Hike
I’ve had a 25 year love affair with hiking–starting in Germany, then Iceland, Hawaii, and now here in Virginia. Friends and I have hiked segments of the Appalachian Trail and have a trip planned for July. The last time I was on the trail, I fell and broke my shoulder. I had to hike out, hitch a few rides, get an Uber back to my car and then drive myself to a hospital. Hopefully the call of the mountains has a more positive outcome this time. We are doing the Triple Crown! Macafee Knob, Tinker Mountain and Dragon’s Tooth. Wish us luck! (p.s., Theresa C., this one’s for you!)
