Abstract painting is tough on goal-oriented people! Often I start with a basic idea or concept but then the painting starts to create itself. I become a vessel for it. It’s hard to let go when you have a strong goal-oriented nature. But it’s essential. There are definite times in life when that is necessary. What do you think?
