New Class: Paper Weaving

Show off a new technique by incorporating paper-weaving into your art practice!

 

I will lead you through the process of paper weaving with some creative and different approaches. This might include deconstruction/reconstruction of your old paintings as well as additive methods.

Tuition is $60 for this single session ($55 for Annual Supporters of the Art Center)

 

What to bring:

• 2-3 older paintings on paper or canvas that you would like to refresh or re-purpose (note: there will be cutting involved)
• Paper that interests you—can be inspiring books, patterned paper, cardstock with colors that relate to the art you bring
• You can also bring fabric or other materials that might be cut into strips for weaving (raffia, ribbon, etc.)
• X-acto knife with extra blades
• Scissors
• Glue
• Cutting mat (if you have one) (I have several we can share)
• Blue tape (if you have it)
