This set of dumbbells crafted from pages of War and Peace, transforms one of literature’s weightiest works into a new form of physical and mental challenge. These paper dumbbells reframe the act of reading as a dynamic exercise, engaging the viewer in a contemplative dialogue about the weight of knowledge, endurance, and the ways we challenge ourselves.
I am captivated by the act of transforming objects traditionally associated with strength and solidity, and reimagining them in the delicate, transient form of paper. I enjoy exploring the paradox between weight and weightlessness, resilience and fragility.
