Announcing a Grant!

I’m thrilled to announce that I have received a generous grant from the City of Virginia Beach!   This funding enables me to attend two week-long art classes at the Arrowmont School of Craft and the Pocosin Arts this summer.  I can’t wait to see what types of new art will be inspired by these classes!

This past year, a group of citizens organized and pressed the City Council of Virginia Beach to make a commitment to the arts.  And the City responded with new funding and a new grant available to individual artists!  Thank you VB City Council and the Cultural Affairs Department!
